Setting up mail accounts in Outlook
It is assumed that you are currently using Microsoft Outlook and are familiar with its general features.
If you do not know your email account information, please contact us and we will be happy to send them to you.
* 1. Open Outlook
* 2. Click the ‘Tools’ menu – click ‘E-mail Accounts’
* 3. Select ‘Add a new email account – click ‘Next’.
* 4. Select ‘POP3’ – click ‘Next’
* 5. Enter the following information (replace with your account information):
Name: Your name
Email Address: user@yourdomain.co.uk
Username: the email address above
Password: yourpassword
Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.yourdomain.co.uk
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): auth.smtp.yourdomain.co.uk
* 6. Click ‘More Settings’ button
* 7. In the new window that opens click ‘Outgoing Server’ tab – select ‘My outgoing mail server (SMTP) requires authentication’.
* 8. Click ‘Advanced’ tab – select ‘Leave a copy of the message on the server’
* 9. Click ‘OK’ button
* 10. Click ‘Next’ button – click ‘Finish’ button
The account is created, click ‘Send/Receive’ to test.
Do not send Unsolicited mail (mail to people that have not requested you to do so)
Mailing unsolicited list will likely cause many SPAM reports on your domain which could block your emails in the future to those servers.
