Setting up mail accounts in Outlook Express
It is assumed that you are currently using Microsoft Outlook Express and are familiar with its general features.
If you do not know your email account information, please contact us and we will be happy to send them to you.
* 1. Open Outlook Express
* 2. Click the ‘Tools’ menu – click ‘Accounts’
* 3. At the top right of the new window click the ‘Add’ button and then ‘Mail…’.
* 4. Enter the following information (replace with your account information):
Display Name: Your name
Email Address: user@yourdomain.co.uk
Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: mail.yourdomain.co.uk
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.co.uk
Account name: name@yourdomain.co.uk
Password: yourpassword
* 5. Click ‘Next’ button
* 6. Click ‘Finish’ button
The account is created, click ‘Send/Receive’ to test.
Do not send Unsolicited mail (mail to people that have not requested you to do so)
Mailing unsolicited list will likely cause many SPAM reports on your domain which could block your emails in the future to those servers.
